Learning Skills

Academic Task Force has an excellent course which has been used by many schools to boost student success. We have adapted our popular Study Skills program for Year 11 and 12 students specifically tailoring the Learning Skills program for students making the transition to secondary school. We do encourage schools to also invite parents to learn alongside their child. The Learning Skills program can help parents in supporting their child’s transition to high school.

The Learning Skills program is a six hour course that is presented by an experienced and motivating teacher. The emphasis is on active learning strategies and the program incorporates practical work for students. Students will receive a workbook they can keep to refer back to throughout their school year.
