Schools recognise students’ need for effective study skills to boost academic performance. Good study skills help students to maximise their study time, be organised and be prepared in their studies; reducing stress and cramming during exam times. The start of the school year is an ideal time to help students develop a study plan.
Academic Task Force has an excellent course which has been used by many schools to boost student success.
The Study Skills program is a six hour course that is presented by an experienced teacher and incorporates practical work for students. The emphasis is on active learning strategies. Students will receive a workbook they can keep to refer back to throughout their school year.

The content can be changed or modified to best suit the learning needs of your school’s students.
Schools can chose to run the course over one day or over two half days. Small groups work best and we recommend a maximum of 25 students/group. This can be varied to meet specific requirements.
